Activities continue to help Semeraro School, the only center of inclusion and integration in the marginalized area of ​​Makeni, a city in a country where 42% of the population is under 14 years old.
Thanks to Harambee’s support, “Marino’s Little Disciples of Jesus” cares for 83 children who attend nursery and elementary school, as well as 9 orphan girls who are staying at the sisters’ house.
In addition, so far, 10 young women attend a course on clothing fabric, cut and make to learn this trade. Through the project, the sisters can offer 5 sacks of rice (50 kg each), to the surrounding community on a monthly basis .
