(Paris, France) Harambee presentation in France
250 people participated at the official presentation of Harambee in France. It took place on May 10, in the Espace du Centenarie, Maison de la RATP (Paris 12ème). Ms. Marie Noëlle Muller, Secretary General of the « Association des Amis de Josémaria Escriva
» introduced the event by explaining the reason why the Association decided to sustain Harambee : “Our aim is to spread Josémaria Escriva’s message about the ethics of well done work, let people know about the Humanitarian initiatives inspired by the Christian principles; that’s what Harambee does by helping Africa”. After the introduction, Dr. Leon Tschilolo, director of Monkole Hospital Centre in Congo, spoke about the problems and challenges in Africa. The event launched fund-raising for four new projects supported by Harambee in Africa in 2006.
