On March 31, Peñalba School in Valladolid organized a concert to raise funds for the projects supported by Harambee in 2006. Performed by the Valladolid Youth Choir and Orchestra and conducted by Ernesto Rodriguez Monsalve, the concert was the culmination of an intensive week in which Peñalba School pupils participated in workshops dealing with the problems faced by Africa and some of the solutions being initiated by African institutions and individuals.
