Harambee work camp in Cameroon
On the 1st of last August a group of 12 Italian students left for a work camp in Cameroon. The University students ,who stayed in the Rigel Cultural Centre of Yaounde, developed a program of medical visits to children and adults in the area of Mehandan and Nkolnda.
Together with other students from Cameroon , daily they went out to the places where they came into contact with some serious health problems stemming from malnutrition. They also organised games and sports for the children. This experience forms a part of the promoted initiative for Harambee to educate the youth about the needs of the African continent and to promote International solidarity.
