June 2009: Holland, Start up of a New Committee for Harambee. 

Amsterdam- a new committee has recently joined the international team of Harambee. Thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of a group of volunteers, the Harambee Committee/Netherlands has been formed. The goal is the same: to promote education initiatives in Africa and on Africa; development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and communication activities and awareness in the rest of the world, in order to spread the benefits of African culture. The first actions of the Committee will involve the Dutch cities of Utrecht, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Tilburg and Hengelo.
