Spain. First solidarity competition at the Peñalba College of Valladolid.
Valladolid- The School of Athletics "Isaac Viciosa" (European champion in the 1,500 m. in 1998) achieved the first race of solidarity for the project that Harambee supports in Kenya: the 'Enhancement Program for Teachers," promoted by the Strathmore University of Nairobi in collaboration with Kesia, the agency of the Kenyan Ministry of Education, aims to improve the quality levels of the education system reaching 6000 directors in 2009.

Many students of the College and from other schools of the city participated at the race, helping to raise funds to support Africa.

The awards ceremony was attended by Isaac Viciosa, Chunya Espeso (representative of Harambee in Valladolid) and Jean Jacques Not (director of Peñalba).
