A new fund-raising campaign will be launched in 2011
for five new educational projects in Africa.
The goal in the new year is to actively involve families in the agricultural training programs for young people in Cameroon, to improve health and nutritional levels in Mozambico by training mothers who have become marginalized, to allow marginalized children in Johannesburg, South Africa to go to nursery and elementary school, to improve basic schooling and living conditions of children living in the refugee camps in Sudan and to strengthen the quality of teaching through training courses for the administration and teaching staff of middle and elementary school in Kenya. The “Projects” page will soon be available on Harambee’s website where detailed information about the initiatives may be accessed.
