Thanks to Harambee, An Improved Future for Peter Kamau, a Prisoner in Kenya.
Peter Kamau, imprisoned in Naivasha, Kenya, has recently earned a degree thanks to a project carried out by the Strathmore University of Nairobi with the support of Harambee Africa International.
The objective of this initiative was to offer a high-quality education for certain prisoners through a long distance learning program, making prisons in Kenya, at least for a few prisoners, an opportunity to gain life experience. Thus far 140 students have earned a degree, including Peter Kamau.
