The ceremony of the Harambee Award: "A Tale Set in Africa" will take place May 12,
2011 at the Senate in Rome.
The initiative aims at promoting knowledge of the continent and solidarity with African people within the competition: "Volunteering: generosity and work for the economic, social and human promotion of the person and the community, promoted by the RUI Foundation in collaboration with Harambee Africa International Onlus.
There are four prizes for the special category and the winners are: Fabio Russo (Liceo Archimede – Acireale), Andrea Boutros (Liceo Cassini – Genova), Alessandro Bonanno (Liceo Ballatore - Mazara del Vallo) e Marcellina Sobczak (Liceo Jacopone da Todi –Todi).

The Award is designed for students of the fourth and fifth year of high school, in occasion of "the European Year of Volunteering".
