Harambee - All Together for Africa

The “Harambee Laboratory” is an initiative that seeks to bring young Africans from the Sub-Saharan region closer together and to involve them in the development of the area, making them aware that a great part of the near future is linked to the strength and human growth of the continent. Harambee Africa International offers an action plan for cultural authorities, universities and youth clubs that includes sports and cultural and volunteer activities:
-Harambee Sport:
Participation in “light” athletic competitions (short and long-distance running and marathons), rugby and soccer with Harambee. The two objectives are:
1) to raise funds for Harambee’s educational projects in Africa;
2) to bring young men and women closer to young Africans through sports, highlighting the positive will to fight that Africa’s younger generation possesses.
-Harambee Meetings:
Various topics and a plethora of experts to bring about the organization of formal and informal meetings, seminars and conferences on current affairs in Africa.
-Harambee Volunteers:
Training programs to make participants more aware of the cultural, spiritual and economic potential of Sub-Sahara Africa. The work sessions:
a) bring about volunteer initiatives in Italy that focus on the distribution and promotion of projects supported by Harambee Africa International through fund-raising activities and the organization of “Activity Days” on the African continent for public and private entities;
b) promote the creation of work sites in some African countries, with the agreement of Harambee partners in Kenya, Nigeria, the Congo and the Cameroon.
