The project trained 30 trainers through means of seminars on teaching methods, psychology and teaching materials. Following this, training courses were held for girls and women, totalling 352 classes over 672 hours. The training enabled those attending to recognize and value their role as mothers and workers.
Description of the project :
The aim of this project was the promotion of the work of women through basic skills training enabling them to set up a studio or workshop and develop their artistic capabilities. The project included courses in basic hygiene, homecare, and personal development, so that they appreciate the value of their role as mothers and wage-earners. It aims at a progressive reduction of the level of illiteracy, and courses are run for all, with no distinction of race, religion, state, or ethnicity.

Description of the project :
The project consists in the preparation of a Mobile Health Unit which will serve as the mainstay of an extended campaign for prevention and health information in the region of Yamoussoukro. The effort will be directed mainly to young primary school pupils.
The programme will involve the following activities:
- Health education of young children;
- Provision of an educational module on the principal notions of health and hygiene, together with practical sessions;
- Health Education modules for instructors focusing on infant disease prevention so that the instructors themselves may organize prevention courses;
- Health care through cure and prevention, together with medical visits for young children between the ages of 5 and 12 in hopes of prevention through the early discovery of diseases and eventual anomalies arising from the same. A prevention plan will be made for epidemics. Particular attention will be paid to skin diseases, periodically providing cure for the worst cases.

Description of the project :
The aim is to raise the level of healthcare in the area, working on two planes: good practice and health assistance.
Good practice is directed at preventing illnesses caused by poorly balanced diets, lack of infant diagnosis and poor hygiene.
The good practice programme targets girls and women living in rural areas and includes:
- Primary health care training;
- Courses in hygiene;
- Courses in nutrition.
Health assistance will include:
- Medical visits in homes;
- Medical visits in primary schools;
- Vaccinations;
- Child diagnosis

At the end of the period planned for the project, training courses had been held for 120 young people, sties had been provided for the raising of 326 pigs, and agricultural infrastructure supplied.
Description of the project
The project concerned the region of Alepe (50 km from Abidjan), in the villages of Ahotouse, N’zoedji and Kougofou. It set up training courses for girls and young women to help them to increase agricultural and animal-raising productivity. The aim was to provide income-generating work for girls with no educational qualifications, and so help to keep them out of the world of drugs, alcoholism and prostitution. 120 students have so far benefited from the courses (40 from each of the three villages). The course lasts for 12 months and is divided into two modules, one on agriculture and the other on animal-raising (pigs and poultry).
