The deadline for submitting applications is 26 March 2020. Scholarships can be requested by women scientists from sub-Saharan Africa for stays (from 1 to 6 months) in international research centres and universities. The scholarships, financed by public and private sponsors, donations and own funds, will cover travel, expenses to and from the country of residence, accommodation, daily allowances and medical insurance.

The project aims to promote the leadership of African women in scientific research with the aim of strengthening research centers in Africa, especially in the two areas of greatest impact on people: Life and Earth. This will encourage the creation of research centres of excellence in scientific subjects relating to the improvement of human health and the protection of the environment.
