The global crisis caused by COVID-19 has also affected the Institut Supérieur en Sciences Infirmières (ISSI) in Kinshasa (DRC), in particular the continuity of the training of female students and the access of new students. Due to these particular circumstances, Haramabee launched, last June, a fundraising Campaign to support the Institute, in a country that lives a worrying socio-economic situation and that appears at the bottom of the Human Development Index (HDI) of the United Nations.

How were the contributions raised used?

-27 students have graduated as nurses and are ready to enter the professional field;
-68 girls were enrolled in the first year of their studies;
-Strengthened the equipment for distance learning;
-Distributed personal protection materials to enable hospital internships.
