A new contribution of 3,520 euro was donated to the project that Harambee supported in Mekele, Ethiopia, thanks to a small fundraising campaign. The initiative is carried out by “Operation Rescue ORE”, an institution dedicated to the professional training of young people in a country -Ethiopia- afflicted by large migration flows.

The local government is committed to a programme to combat youth unemployment in the leading sectors of the local economy such as construction, agriculture, business and commerce; in this context, in line with government directives, the project contributes to improving the life conditions of vulnerable young people through vocational training, thus promoting their social and labour inclusion in local communities and avoiding forced migration processes.
