On November 29 in Rome, a meeting was held to tell Harambee’s friends and collaborators about the results of the association’s initiatives in the year ending.

This year’s international meeting of local Harambee committees took place in Rome on November 4th and 5th.

The Harambee Committees representatives will meet in Rome to select the new projects for 2017.

The “Communicating Africa” Contest sponsored by Harambee is aimed at primary school and middle school students.

Harambee promotes Eastlands Technical Institute, a project that aims to provide adequate training in the field of new technologies to unemployed youth in the outskirts of Nairobi.

Each year, 80,000 children under the age of 5 die from diseases that could have been prevented if basic nutritional and sanitary conditions had been met.

Thanks to contributions collected, the Marcello Semeraro Nursery School in Makeni is now able to accommodate and sustain 75 children, ages 3 through 6 years old.

The Harambee photo exhibition is now available in Rome (September 14th-30th), at the Pontifical Univeristy of Holy Cross.

African Art & Symbolism was the theme of an event

Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 10 am, at the Sala ICEF (Viale delle Belle Arti, 8-Rome), Harambee Africa International presents the photographic exhibition: “Ilomba, One Day More.” Speaker: Koffi Achilles, Yamoussoukro (Ivory Coast).

An evening of sport, music and solidarity will be held at the Sporting Milano 3, next June 25.
