In Africa, women represent half of the population and occupy 63% of the workforce. When you offer education to a woman you give education to a nation: Africa looking ahead is also Africa of women.

This will be discussed on 24 February (9.30 / 11.00. NH Hotel, via Virgilio 1-Rome), with the testimony of:

• Assina Kahamba -P & R Tech, University of Lubumbashi, R.D. the Congo;
• Adaora Onaga -doctor, Nigeria.

The meeting is held on the occasion of the delivery of the H. Award for the “Equality of the African woman” that takes place on the same day in Madrid. The 2016 winner is Esther Tallah, pediatrician, who has been dedicated to improving the living conditions of women and children.

During the meeting the 2016 Harambee projects will be presented.
