The project focuses on the Ecole Technique Secondaire Saint Joseph de Kiryama, an important educational institution in Bururi Province, Burundi. Offering quality technical training on an internship basis, the school plays a crucial role in providing young people with the skills they need to contribute to the national economy and combat the high unemployment rate. However, the school faces significant challenges, including a lack of adequate resources to maintain an optimal learning environment.

Beneficiaries

760 internal students from poor families from all provinces in Burundi.

Major Activities

  • Provision of materials and equipment (400 new mattresses; kitchen utensils, various tools)
  • Enhancement of Agropastoral Activities to enrich and diversify the food supply for students.
