Mouvement d’Action pour la Réinsertion des Enfants Marginalisés – Marem

In Lomé, the capital of Togo, hundreds of children live on the streets, a growing reality despite the efforts of organizations such as Marem. These children, often fleeing difficult or coercive family situations, or simply seeking escape from poverty, find refuge on the city streets. The project aims to provide concrete support through the construction of a new shelter.

  • About 200 new cases per year of abandoned children, ages 8-17.
  • Significant increase of children under the age of 10 in the last three years.

  • Housing for Street Children: Providing a safe and stable environment for children in need.
