In Lomé, the capital of Togo, hundreds of children live on the streets, a growing reality despite the efforts of organizations such as Marem. These children, often fleeing difficult or coercive family situations, or simply seeking escape from poverty, find refuge on the city streets. The project aims to provide concrete support through the construction of a new shelter.

Beneficiaries

  • About 200 new cases per year of abandoned children, ages 8-17.
  • Significant increase of children under the age of 10 in the last three years.

Major Activities

  • Construction of a New First-Care Facility
  • Housing for Street Children: Providing a safe and stable environment for children in need.

Contribution Requested: € 18.000 to complete the construction of the new primary care facility.
