Promoter
Action Monde Pour Tous/World Action For All

Description
The village of Mogong is located in the Far North region of Cameroon, where the majority of the population lives off subsistence farming, plagued by the consequences of climate change. Here, the challenges are diverse and complex: insufficient water, poor knowledge of agricultural techniques, poor resource management and organisational and structural deficiencies. Women, the main actors of development, are engaged on a daily basis for real and sustainable change. The project therefore aims to improve living conditions, through training for women and girls to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and the start-up of income-generating activities, to support them in accessing micro-credit and to contribute to greater awareness of their rights.

Beneficiaries: 100 women and girls organised in 10 cooperatives

Contribution requested: € 27,000
