The Association, linked to the Diocese, is committed to the social promotion of the most vulnerable groups through training and assistance initiatives.

Context
The project is carried out in the area of Yangala, capital of the Catholic Mission of St. John, one of the 45 parishes of the Diocese of Luiza. It is an environment characterized mainly by large rivers and far from the city. Educationally, all the children from the surrounding villages attend the Kuiza Kuajima elementary school, the only center of reference. Most of these children are orphans, poor and unschooled and are the result of the Kamuena Nsapu war that took place from December 2016 to June 2017 during which more than 430 young people died and many of them, already married, left widows and children; on that occasion, the militias looted the parishes and destroyed the School and all the school material.

Activities
The project will allow the rehabilitation of the school infrastructure of Kuiz Kuajima (2 buildings) and the provision of equipment to ensure a suitable environment for the schooling and education of the children of Yangala.
